Koobi SI Classic

I recently purchased two of these saddles and put one on my comfort bike and gave the other one to my friend for his Specialized mountain bike. We have been getting together for a few rides already this year and I was hearing complaints about saddle soreness UNTIL we installed these Koobi SI Classic saddles on our bikes. Now we can put on the miles and the seat and comfort of the saddle is the least of our concerns! We don't think about the saddle at all which I view as a great thing. I will be looking at the Koobi line up a little harder to pick out the right saddle for my road bike now. Thanks Koobi!
Love it for cyclocross, hate it for my roadie

I've been using this saddle on my cyclocross bike for a few years now, and have always enjoyed the seat. My rides are usually short (about an hour), but hard and rough. The saddle absorbs a lot of impact. I never get numbness, sore, or discomfort. Nor do I easily get bucked off the saddle, when banging an object. Very happy with the saddle! I did, however, use the saddle for a double century on my roadie last weekend. I was not pleased: numbness and pinched cajones were my frequent fate. I was constantly out of the saddle trying to get better seated. Moved the saddle a couple of times, made adjustments in riding style, etc.: only a slight improvement. I would not ride this on my roadie again.
Everyday Rider

This seat is good for a singular type of roder. The rider that rides for pleasure and exercise. The rider that needs the comfort regardless of the weight of the rider, bike or seat. I have a flatbar road bike and I ride 8-10 miles on an average day and 20 or more on warm days which I am off work for the day. Now seats are one of the more personal items a human being can buy, but I don't regret buying this seat at all. It has just enough cushion to protect my back side but not so soft as to split my "cheeks" and cause pain. If weight is an issue then this seat wasn't created for you so select from the other models that Koobi offers.
